Services & Products

All hides are professionally tanned, and top quality methods and materials are always used to preserve and protect your trophies. Sometimes field conditions or other events can damage hides, so we can’t guarantee perfection, but we do our very best to preserve (and repair) your specimens.

Delivery time varies depending on the type of mount, but mounts are typically completed within 5 to 7 months.

A well-designed base not only complements the mount, but can also contribute to that memory of where it was taken. Balancing simplicity and detail, contrast and visual flow, along with exceptional realism, brings your trophy back to life in a way that will make you remember that moment and smile every time you see it.

Photographic reference is invaluable when bringing your mount back to life. Please take lots of pictures, closeup details, and also some of the surrounding area, showing vegetation and terrain characteristics. Digital cameras and cell phones make it easy, so please, go overboard!

African and international trophies:  Please contact us before leaving on your safari for tips and suggestions on how to improve the chances of your trophies surviving intact.  Salting, drying, dipping, and shipping are not always done as well as they could be, and requesting a little extra attention from your PH or outfitter may be helpful. Damaged hides coming out of Africa can often be repaired, but it’s obviously preferable to prevent the damage in the first place.

Alligators:  We specialize in alligator taxidermy, and offer the best quality, most innovative, and realistic alligator mounts around.  Alligators make exceptional trophies, and having spent many nights in the Florida swamps, we know what it’s like seeing a gator come out of the water on the end of your line (the reference shots we get are phenomenal!), and we strive to recreate that in our alligator mounts.

We make a variety of items out of gator feet and hides, and welcome those ideas, but sorry, we prefer not to deal with unnatural novelties like “football gators”.

Please contact us with any questions or comments. We have references available, and can forward our brochure and any other useful information.
